After the failure of the last round of talks in Qatar, Israel is unwilling to make further concessions to Hamas and is preparing for an operation in Rafah after Ramadan or at the latest in early May, APA reports citing Lebanese Al-Akhbar newspaper.
According to the sources, the Israeli ground operation inside the last stronghold of Hamas in the Gaza Strip will last between 4 and 8 weeks and will be accompanied by the evacuation of the civilian population (about 1.5 million people) who took refuge in Rafah. Before the operations, civilians in each area of Rafah will be warned to evacuate along certain routes and at certain times towards the center of the Gaza Strip.
