FT: Iran has preserved combat capability of its missile forces five months after US strikes

Iran has preserved the combat capability of its missile forces and adapted to new conditions despite the US and Israeli strikes carried out over the past five months, the Financial Times reports.

According to the publication, Iranian engineers managed to restore underground missile bases within a short period after the bombardments.

Experts believe that the recent strikes on barracks housing US troops in Jordan, which resulted in military casualties, demonstrate that Iran has retained its ability to penetrate the missile defense systems of the United States and Arab countries.

Analysts say Tehran has improved both the accuracy of its medium-range ballistic missiles and their ability to evade missile defense systems. According to the report, this has been achieved through technical and tactical changes, as well as experience gained from previous conflicts.

The Financial Times notes that even five months after hundreds of US airstrikes, Iran retains the capability to carry out precision strikes against targets across the region, including facilities in Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
