The number of people killed during protest actions in Iran has reached 36, APA reports, citing the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA).
Of the dead, 34 are protesters, and 2 are members of the security forces.
Among those killed are 4 people under the age of 18.
More than 2,000 people have been arrested in protests continuing across 27 provinces.
Iranian media have denied reports that the city of Abdanan was taken over by protesters. It is stated that public order is currently being maintained in the city of Abadan.
