Five persons belonging to the same family were killed in a road accident in India when the car they were traveling in collided with a tanker parked by the roadside, a local cop told Xinhua over the phone on Monday, APA reports citing Xinhua.
The dead included two married couples aged 28-34 and a one-year-old child. A three-year-old child survived the accident, suffering injuries.
The accident occurred on the outskirts of Vadodara district of the country's western state of Gujarat, said the cop. The deceased were on the way returning to their home in Vadodara from the Bharuch area of Gujarat.
