Baku-APA. At least six people were killed Wednesday afternoon after a passenger bus crashed into a tractor- trailer and a car in U.S. state of Tennessee, according to knoxnews.com, a local news website, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
There are also multiple injuries, the report said.
The bus was traveling on the eastbound on Interstate 40 when it "traveled across the median and struck a tractor-trailer and passenger car that were traveling westbound," a Tennessee Department of Safety official was quoted as saying, adding that the tractor-trailer caught fire and the bus overturned after the crash.
Both directions of Interstate 40 were shut down after the crash, the report said.
