Baku-APA. At least seven people were killed Friday in two separate shooting incidents in Mexico's northwestern state of Tamaulipas, the state Attorney General's Office said, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
Armed assailants opened fire on a group of soldiers who were on routine patrol in Las Fuentes district in the city of Reynosa. The 30-minute gunfight left two gunmen and a soldier dead and at least three other soldiers wounded.
In a separate incident, four people were killed in a shooting outside a shopping center in the town of Arguelles in the same state.
