A meeting between UN Secretary-General António Guterres and US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the 81st session of the General Assembly (GA) is not yet scheduled, but there is no doubt it will take place. This was stated at a briefing by Stéphane Dujarric, the official representative of the head of the world organization, APA reports.
"I have no doubt that he [Guterres] will do this, since he always meets with the president of the host country, usually on the first day," Dujarric said in response to a question on the matter.
The general debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly will take place from September 22 to 26 and September 28. The Russian delegation will be led by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
