Drop irrigation widely implemented in Azerbaijanâ€™s regions

Implementation of the drop irrigation is extended in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic because it is more qualitative and saving method, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Nakhchivan AR told APA local bureau. The Ministry officials said drop irrigation in the rough countries enabled to keep trees more qualitative and provided more economical and regular irrigation. This method is used mostly for the fruit and evergreen trees. Melioration and Water Facility Agency of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources provided more than 100 ha fields with the drop irrigation.
