The permit conditions to be applied regarding cigarette production in the tobacco product sector is including the condition of manufacturing of products using local raw materials, it was reflected in the proposed amendment to the law "On Tobacco and Tobacco Products", which was put into discussion at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
Based on this Law, registered business entities engaged in tobacco product manufacturing must comply with the requirements specified by the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority regarding the volume of use of local tobacco raw materials (tobacco with the middle stem partially or completely removed) in the manufacturing of tobacco products.
The draft law was put to the vote and adopted in the third reading.
