Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is scheduled to visit Ukraine.
The Ukrainian president’s press service announced the aforementioned in a statement made after the meeting of the two countries' presidents, who are in the Turkish city of Eskiseher to attend the opening ceremony of the TANAP project, APA reports.
The sides discussed the preparations for the 6th meeting of the Council of Azerbaijani and Ukrainian Presidents to be held within the framework of the visit.
The heads of state stated that Ukraine-Azerbaijan dialogue has become active at all levels.
The presidents noted that in the context of preparations for the meeting of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission on economic issues to take place in Kiev, the figures for last year's trade turnover have improved markedly.
The heads of state expressed their unchanging mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of each other’s countries.
