President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his convincing victory in the presidential election in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
“Your victory in the April 11 presidential election is proof of the high support of the Azerbaijani people for your policy aimed at further increasing the welfare of citizens and strengthening the country’s international reputation,” Nazarbayev said in his congratulatory letter.
In his letter, the Kazakh leader hailed the great contribution President Ilham Aliyev made to the strengthening of relations between the two countries which are based on strong friendship and trust.
Nazarbayev expressed confidence that the existing strategic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan will continue to develop dynamically for the benefit of the bright future of the two countries’ peoples.
“Taking this opportunity, I wish you robust health, success in all your initiatives and the friendly people of Azerbaijan peace and prosperity,” the Kazakh president said.
