President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to provide grants to the citizens of the Non-Aligned movement (NAM) member states to get education in Azerbaijan’s higher educational institutions.
The number of people for whom educational grants are provided will annually increase by 20 and will be brought to 100 in five years. These grants cover yearly expenses of tuition fee, visa, registration, hostel or rent, daily nutrition, teaching literature, transport (excluding taxi), utility services, medical aid, as well as of traveling to and back from their country, APA reported.
The Ministry of Finance is due to ensure the rules of providing educational grants and the amount of educational grants within two months.
The Ministry of Education is due to determine higher education institutions of Azerbaijan where citizens of Non-Aligned movement states will get education.
