Since January 1, 2018 customs duties on import of art works, collections and antiques will be changed.
This was reflected in the “Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity, Rates of Import and Export Customs Duties” approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Currently, customs duty for the import of art works makes up 0.50% of customs value of these works. This amount will increase by tenfold to 5% from January 1, 2018.
At the same time, customs duty for import of collections and antiques will be cancelled.
