In January-September 2017 the worth of products sold in retail trade network amounted to AZN 24.8 billion, up 2.1% from previous year.
According to State Statistical Committee, the consumers spent AZN 12,600,000,000 of their incomes on food products, drinks and tobacco products in retail trade networks, AZN 12,200,000,000 to non-food products, relevantly up 1.4% and 2.9% by contrast to 2016.
In the retail trade network, the population spent 45.8% of funds on food products, 4.9% on drinks and tobacco products, 18.1% on textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.3% on electrical products and furniture, 5.2% on fuel, 1.4% on pharmacological and medical products, 0.7% on computers, telecommunication equipments and printing products, 17.7% on other non-food products.
Per head retail trade turnover stood at AZN 283.4, up AZN 40 from 2016.
