University entrance examinations in Azerbaijan will consist of two stages in two years, Maleyka Abbaszade, chairperson of the Board of Directors of the State Examination Center, said on Thursday, APA reported.
According to her, the points scored by students in final exams in the first stage will be added to the points earned in the second stage.
Abbaszade said that the general admission will be based on the summary results of the first and second stages.
“The subjects of final exams have been announced. The number of subjects to be included in university entrance exams has already been agreed upon after discussions with the Ministry of Education. Their model is completely ready. The SEC Board of Directors will consider this issue tomorrow. Additional information will be provided after a final agreement is reached,” she added.
