A group of people—Nail Bakirov, Sohbat Bakirov, Arshad Mahmudov, and Sarkhan Asadullayev—charged with theft are standing trial at the Baku Court on Grave Crimes.
During the preparatory hearing, the investigators’ profile data were reviewed, APA reported.
The judge stressed that the defendants’ rights to defense had been violated by the investigators and that there were serious offences relating to the case materials. Upon that, the court ordered that the case be returned to preliminary investigation. It also issued a special ruling against two of the inspectors and one of the investigators.
