Turkey’s Council of Higher Education will not recognize the diplomas issued by the Baku-based Qafqaz University prior to 2016, the Board of Education of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Turkey said in a statement on Jan. 13, APA reported.
According to the statement, Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak published an article on the Qafqaz University on Jan. 12.
“The information was verified by the Council of Higher Education of Turkey. The Council said diplomas of those who entered the Qafqaz University in the academic year 2016/17 will be recognized after their graduation (after 4 years). However, diplomas of those who graduated or entered the university prior to 2016 will not be recognized,” said the statement.
