The delegation headed by the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Pyotr Gorodov paid a working visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the five-way meeting of the representatives of the Prosecutor General's Offices of the Caspian littoral states in Baku at the invitation of the Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan told APA.
Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev met with the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Pyotr Gorodov.
At the bilateral meeting, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev emphasized that friendship and cooperation relations between our countries are strategic, and thanks to the joint efforts and political will of the heads of state, bilateral relations are developing successfully in all directions.
Pyotr Gorodov expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and said that the long-term close relations between the two countries, as well as between the prosecutor's offices of the two friendly and partner states, are exemplary. Emphasizing the importance of the five-way meeting of the representatives of the chief prosecutor's offices of the Caspian littoral states held in Baku on April 4, he expressed confidence that this format will allow the continuation of mutually efficient activities.
Mikhail Yevdokimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to our country, also participated in the meeting.
