Press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA that the Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General has investigated the material submitted by the Center for Work with Municipalities under the Ministry of Justice on illegal actions of the officials of Mughan municipality in Jalilabad region.
It was found out that chairman Rasif Hasanov illegally removed AZN 12,770 from the municipal accounts without documentation and misappropriated. Moreover, without a relevant judgments of executive authorities and municipality meetings, 2,02 hectares of land was sold to 20 citizens.
Criminal case has been launched on article #308.1 (abuse of power), investigation is underway.
