Azerbaijan sees decline in share market

According to BSE, corporative securities market declined 47%% to AZN 908.110 mln. AZN 60.713 mln-placement was recorded on 81 deals in the primary market of corporate bonds. In the secondary market, AZN 343.409 mln-deals were closed on 131 deals. Compared with a previous year, primary market dropped 3.3 times, secondary market – by 35.3%.

Regarding share market, sum of deals on such type of securities made AZN 503.987 mln, down 48.7% from 2011. Primary share market slipped 49.9%, secondary market – rose 91%.

Primary market of government bonds slipped 40.7%, secondary market – by 38.2%. CB notes turnover soared 63.3% to AZN 1.070 bln, including primary market of notes surged 33.7%, secondary market – 16.8 times. In general, the government securities market increased 20.5%.
