Ban on entry into Baku does not apply to IDP cars

Head of the PR department Kamran Aliyev said in a statement to APA the ban on the entry into Baku of district-registered cars does not apply to IDPs.

“There is no restriction on Baku-registered IDP cars entering Baku. The decision does not apply to them”.

The Road Safety Commission of the Cabinet of Ministers has worked out the winter and summers schedules for trucks and district-registered cars to enter into Baku.

From May 1 to October 1, the summer schedule restricts the entry into Baku for district-registered trucks and cars from 07:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The trucks and cars will be permitted to enter the city from 10:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m.

According to the winter schedule, from October 1 to May 1, the entry into Baku of district-registered trucks and cars will be restricted from 9:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m. Trucks and district-registered cars will enter into the city from 9:00p.m. to 7:00.a.m.
