Russia don’t refuse dialogues with West, choice is theirs - President Putin

“We and only we will determine Russia’s fate for the sake of today’s and future generations”, Vladimir Putin who has taken office fifth time as the president of Russia told these statements at the swearing-in ceremony in Kremlin today, APA reports.

“The interests and safety of Russian people will be above all the else for me. You, Russian citizens, confirmed correctness of the course of the Russian Federation. We are united and great people and we will get across all obstacles, realize everything we planned,” Putin stressed.

The president of Russia noted that his country doesn’t refuse dialogues with West, but choice is theirs:

“We should provide ourselves in complicated world and should compete. In coming decades, it is necessary to ensure reliable continuity of Russia’s development. We should remember the tragedy of internal unrest and turmoil, so the political system of the Russian Federation should be stable. We should raise and educate generations that will empower Russia. Stability does not mean strictness so Russia’s system should be agile”

Putin finished his inaugural address with the words “we will win together”.
