“The goal of Washington's policies is to destroy the unity of the Russian and Ukrainian peoples, as well as divide people living in Ukraine by fueling nationalist sentiment against compactly living ethnic groups such as Russians, Romanians, Hungarians, Poles and others, which is fraught with Ukraine splitting into several parts”, Patrushev said.
According to Patrushev, the U.S. has rich experience to destroy unified states.
“Yugoslavia, the center of Europe, is an example of it. Powerful multi-ethnic states have been split into several small states, which are unable to pursue an independent policy. Washington is going to pursue such a policy in Northern Africa and the Middle East”, he added.
