Baku. Vusal Nabiyev - APA-Economics. Social benefits and pensions determined by the centre of social protection of the population in cities and regions have been paid by the International Bank of Azerbaijan and Kapital Bank so far. In accordance with the results of tender held by Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, payment service of social benefits and pensions have been provided by Kapital Bank since early July which won the tender.
Ministry’s spokesman Elman Babayev told APA-Economics that the citizens, who have received pensions and social benefits from International Bank of Azerbaijan so far, will now receive them from Kapital Bank’s ATMs. For this purpose, the centres of social protection of the population in cities and regions ordered Kapital Bank’s city and region-based branches to issue plastic cards and submit to the citizens.
“The cards have already been issued since July 20 and the citizens can get their plastic cards by submitting their ID card. There is not any problem in this issue”, Babayev said.
Babayev stressed that the citizens, who have received their pensions and social benefit from the International Bank of Azerbaijan so far and still have balance of money in their cards, they can apply to Kapital Bank’s branches and get their money in cash. Citizens facing difficulties in the process of changing the plastic cards or getting balance of money from International Bank of Azerbaijan can apply to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
