The price will change in accordance with the competition rounds, places and seat categories. Minors accompanied by adults 18 years old or above with necessary personal identification cards or teens under 16 will get free entry to most of the host venues, except for the Heydar Aliyev Sports Arena and the National Gymnastics Arena. A ticket for the two venues will cost only AZN 1 for those under 16.
The price of tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies will be different and affordable for groups of age; tickets for the opening ceremony will cost AZN 20 or more, and the closing ceremony AZN 10 or more.
Simon Clegg, Chief Operating Officer of the Baku 2015 European Games Operating Committee (BEGOC), said the announcement of ticket policy today is quite a pride.
“It will allow us to share the experience of the European Games with a larger audience that also includes families,” said Simon Clegg.
Note that, tickets will be put up for sale on March 19-21.
