The European Union intends to improve the relations with Azerbaijan in all spheres. It should be based on open dialogue,” Head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Malena Mard said at the briefing on the report on the outcomes of the EU cooperation with the Eastern Partnership countries, APA reports.
She said visa facilitation and readmission agreements with the EU would come into effect in summer. According to Malena Mard, proposal was put forward at the European Union to facilitate Schengen visa procedure.
Ambassador said the report offered the implementation of the national program on combating corruption.
“We are taking into account the successful activity of ASAN Service. We have also underlined the importance of good governance and democracy,” she said.
