The investigations carried out by Azerbaijan have revealed that Armenia has purchased anti-tank missiles and a lot of machine-guns and grenade throwers from Greece and Cyprus in the past two years. According to the obtained reports, Armenia has purchased more than 20 MILAN missiles from Greece. The missiles have been reportedly sold from the arsenal of Greek armed forces.

Azerbaijan has expressed objection to Germany and France regarding sale of MILAN anti-tank light infantry missiles to Armenia and demanded to clarify the issue. Both states announce that in connection with the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, they are not selling weapons and military vehicles to Azerbaijan and Armenia and have imposed an embargo on this.

APA reported that Armenian Razm.info military website released photos of MILAN anti-tank missile systems bought by Armenia on July 1.
