The process is chaired by Judge Elnur Hasanov, APA’s correspondent near Sabail District Court reports. The process was attended by Gular Ahmedova and her lawyer Eldar Gadimi.
Gular Hamadova’s family members, as well as her brother Ilgar Mikayiloghlu were in front of the court building during the process, Lawyer E. Gadimi told APA .

Gular Ahmadova gave up her mandate following the scandalous video released by former rector of the closed Azerbaijan International University in September.
Investigation into the criminal case launched on the fact on article 178.3.2 (embezzlement abusing confidence) of the Criminal Code is underway. Gular Ahmadova was recognized as an accused person and placed under the police control.

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov - APA. Former parliamentarian Gular Ahmadova has been arrested.
APA reports that under the decision of Sabail district court, Ahmadova has been sentenced to two-month pre-trial detention.
Gular Ahmadova's brother Ilgar Mikayiloglu neither confirmed, nor refuted the report.
