Baku hosts meeting of Azerbaijan-Jordan Intergovernmental Commission

According to APA-Economics, Azerbaijani chairman of commission Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economic Development noted that, Azerbaijan has achieved dynamic economic development, entrepreneurship activity extends, useful investment and business climate is established in Azerbaijan.

Minister said that Azerbaijan appreciates the relations with foreign countries, including Jordan. He noted that, documents on education and ICT sectors were signed and the documents on veterinary, agriculture, customs, trade, air transport and etc spheres were agreed to be signed between Azerbaijan and Jordan at the 1st meeting held in Amman.

In turn, Jordan Minister of Trade and Industry Hani Al-Mulki stressed that his country interested in extension of relations with Azerbaijan and both countries had a great potential for it.

Current situations and perspectives of cooperation on trade-economic, investment, industry and energy, communication and IT, agriculture, customs, transport, culture and tourism, education, health and other spheres between Azerbaijan and Jordan were discussed at the meeting.

Note that, a protocol on outcomes of 2nd meeting of Intergovernmental Commission will be signed at the end of the event.
