The Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations held a public reporting briefing on NGO projects implemented on the theme of "Return to Western Azerbaijan", APA reports.
An exhibition on the results of projects implemented with the support of the Agency on the theme of "Return to Western Azerbaijan" was also organized within the framework of the briefing.
It was noted that in recent years, NGOs have published more than 200 articles and 15 books on this important line. The books "Irevan: our history, our land, our destiny" by the "For the Social Welfare of Citizens" Public Union and "Irevan: historical truths and personalities" by the "Kainat" Public Union for Support to the Propagation of National and Spiritual Values are of this type.
Speaking at the briefing, the head of the department of the Agency for State Support to NGOs, Elnur Baghirli, said that in the near future, the song "Zangezur" will be presented to the public and played on the radio within the framework of the project implemented by the "Culture Uniting Us" Public Union. Also, the "Assistance to the Preservation and Propagation of Applied Art" Public Union will organize an exhibition on the topic of Western Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan. In addition, a documentary film on the topic of "The Migration of Western Azerbaijanis to Kars" is being prepared within the framework of the NGO projects. The Azerbaijan Literature Foundation will present a new work of art within the framework of the "Western Azerbaijan in Works" project.
In the materials presented at the exhibition, the topic of Western Azerbaijan was presented as historical justice, the right of return, fundamental human rights, the exposure of ethnic cleansing, the object of political and legal struggle in a monoethnic state, and a concept contributing to stability in the region.
Finally, samples of confectionery products related to Western Azerbaijani cuisine were presented to the participants.
