During January-October 2023, Azerbaijan received 20,469 visitors from China, which means a seven-fold increase compared to the same period last year, APA reports.
In recent years, Azerbaijan has gained a reputation as a dynamic cultural and business center as an attractive travel destination for tourists from Asia.
Currently, there is interest in Azerbaijan among tourists from China.
Market research shows that visitors from China are interested in the history and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan and add museums, places included in the UNESCO Heritage List, cities located on the Silk Road to their travel lists, and also include luxury segments such as shopping and golf.
