Expert: Progress and standardization of internet and information technologies have positive impact on the development of tourism

Baku. Aynur Valiyeva-APA-Economics. Progress and standardization of internet and information technologies are important for the development of tourism in Azerbaijan and other developed countries , Yorn Gishen , Director on Marketing and Tourism Strategy of THR-International Tourism Organization addressing the seminar â€ Impact of Economic crisis on European tourism: Challenges and Response Measuresâ€ said that taking into positive experience of China , internet services of the countries and relations with new partners during crisis should be established .
To him, tourism companies should serve basing on special interests.
â€œServices divide into three parts. Services for international markets, opportunities of tourists, service proposals basing on interests and service for achieving experience by tourists,â€ he said.
He recommended working with new small companies.
â€œThey offer interesting services and it is easy to work with them. Small companies manage to eliminate the crisis because of specialized services,â€ he said.
The expert recommended that local tourism companies can employ unemployed agents of foreign tourism companies and can conduct exchange of personnel.
â€œCanadian positive experience shows that establishment of B2B and B2C in internet on tourism, information and photos about trade and tourism in social networks are important and effective measures ,â€ he said.
