Azerbaijan Tourism Association established

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva â€“ APA. Azerbaijan Tourism Association was established under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Chief of the Tourism Department of the Ministry Aydin Ismiyev told APA. He said the association was founded on Tuesday and President of Khazar Travel Company Nahid Bagirov was elected as a chairman of the associationâ€™s Board of Governors.

Ismiyev said there were nearly 250 tourism companies in Azerbaijan and this sphere was rapidly developed over the past 5-6 years in the country. Therefore they considered it important to establish the tourism association. The ministry official said the newly-established organization would develop coordination between the local tourism companies.
