The revealed facts and the general situation suggest that for 30 years, only criminal activities have been organized in these areas, which were considered as uncontrolled zones, Elshad Hajiyev, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told journalists at the area where the cannabis plantation was discovered, APA reports.
Elshad Hajiyev noted that experts were invited to the area and their final decision was listened: "The final desicion was that in these areas, the drugs were grown and cultivated with special methods and care, and were exported to the black market through another country. We think that in these areas, approximately one million dollars worth of drugs were grown and harvested."
