On February 24, the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan extradited an Azerbaijani citizen Marvud Vagifzade, who was wanted by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry told APA.
According to the information, M. Vagifzade, while working as a credit specialist in "World Telecom" LLC, was accused of committing the crime of fraud (Articles 179.3.2 and 313 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan) by seizing the property of another by means of abuse of service position causing a large amount of damage, was located in the Republic of Germany and he was arrested.
He was brought to Azerbaijan from Germany at the request of the General Prosecutor's Office and the guarantees provided by the Ministry of Justice in accordance with international procedures by the responsible associates of the Ministry’s International Cooperation Department and the Penitentiary Service.
