Public Union "Chernobyl Disabled People's Union of the Republic of Azerbaijan", demands the termination of the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), the Chairman of the Public Union "Chernobyl Disabled People's Union of the Republic of Azerbaijan" Mirhasan Hasanov told APA.
He noted that an accident that may happen at the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant can be a great tragedy for regional states and humanity:"We call out to the world, humanity at this event we hold regarding with the 38th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. The activity of Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant must cease. We are not asking anybody. This is a demand. This is a huge threat for the states of the region."
