The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decision on amendments to the "Descriptions of Uniforms for Students of State General Education Institutions," APA reports.
According to the decision, the use of other clothing items that violate the uniformity of the prescribed school uniform or are inconsistent with the secular principle of general education is not permitted.
National clothing or elements of national clothing may be worn at events related to the history, culture, and national and moral values of the Azerbaijani people, subject to a decision by the school's Pedagogical Council.
Parents or other legal representatives must ensure that their children (or persons under their guardianship or care) comply with school uniform requirements.
Issues related to students' compliance with the requirements of this document are resolved by the school's Pedagogical Council.
The decision must be posted on the school's official website or information board within five (5) working days of its adoption.
