The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has shared a post on the 108th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from the occupation of Armenian-Dashnak forces, APA reports.
The post was shared on the Foreign Ministry's X account.
"Today marks the 108th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from the occupation of Armenian-Dashnak forces.
The liberation of Baku 108 years ago by the Caucasian Islamic Army, which also included the Azerbaijani Corps, became an important turning point in Azerbaijan's struggle for statehood. This historic Victory demonstrated the Azerbaijani people's will for independence and statehood, as well as the unity, courage and self-sacrifice of our people and their allies.
We commemorate with deep respect and gratitude the cherished memory of all the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the achievement of this historic Victory," the post reads.
