As part of his visit to Vietnam, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Justice Togrul Huseynov met with his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Thanh Tinh, the Press Service of the Ministry of Justice told APA.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the development of friendly and mutually trustworthy relations between the two countries in economic, industrial, and other spheres, emphasizing the importance of deepening cooperation in the legal field.
The parties discussed the implementation of the “Cooperation Program for 2025–2027 between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Justice of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam,” which was signed in May this year.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on sharing best practices, organizing training and education in the legal sphere, and enhancing existing mechanisms of cooperation. They also discussed establishing working groups and organizing mutual visits.
Note that Togrul Huseynov is part of the Azerbaijani delegation participating in the 3rd meeting of the Azerbaijan-Vietnam Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation held in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
