In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the "Great Return" process to the liberated territories continues, APA reports.
In this phase, the latest convoy of families has departed for the city of Khojavend, the settlement of Girmizi Bazar, and the villages of Guzeykhirman and Guneykhirman in the Khojavend district.
A total of 33 families (135 people) were relocated to the city of Khojavend, 9 families (44 people) to the Girmizi Bazar settlement, 8 families (41 people) to the village of Guzeykhirman, and 1 family (4 people) to the village of Guneykhirman.
The relocating families are those who had previously been living in temporary accommodation—primarily dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings—in various parts of the country.
The residents returning to their native lands expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care and support they have received.
They also expressed their appreciation to the valiant Azerbaijani Army and the heroic soldiers and officers who liberated the lands, and paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in this cause.
