The country’s population increased by 5,814 people, or 0.1 percent, since the beginning of the year and reached 10,268,165 people as of April 1, 2026, APA reports.
This was reflected in the publication of the State Statistical Committee containing macroeconomic indicators of the country’s economic and social development for January-April.
Urban residents accounted for 54.3 percent of the country’s population, rural residents for 45.7 percent, men for 49.8 percent and women for 50.2 percent.
