The next relocation caravan, which departed from the Garadagh district of Baku on July 30, reached Jabrayil city, APA reports.
According to the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, 44 families consisting of 166 people who were resettled to the city at this stage were presented with the keys to their houses.
Officials of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts, as well as the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, attended the ceremony. Families resettled to Jabrayil for permanent residence were provided with apartments in newly constructed buildings. It should be noted that currently, in Karabakh and East Zangezur, in addition to the former IDPs resettled there, there are more than 50 thousand people working in the implementation of projects carried out in this region, as well as performing their official duties in local departments of various state entities, and working in health, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy enterprises that have resumed their activities.

The next convoy of returnees has departed for the city of Jabrayil. At this stage, 44 families (166 people) are returning to their native land. Of them, 34 families (121 people) are from Baku, and 10 families (45 people) are from the Bilasuvar district.
“Our joy knows no bounds. May God have mercy on our martyrs. Great sacrifices were made for our sake. We are finally returning to our homeland,” said former IDP Telvar Mahmudova.
Rasim Mammadov, a 74-year-old retiree returning to his native land, said he plans to live happily in his homeland in the coming days.
“May God grant our President a long life. I pray for mercy for our martyrs and healing for our veterans. We are returning to our land, our home,” noted another former IDP, Sakina Aslanova.
“We are returning to our motherland. I am overjoyed. Let our people rejoice. May God grant our President good health and give strength to our army for rescuing us from this hardship,” said former IDP Feyruz Bayramov.
