Azerbaijan marks Fuzuli City Day-PHOTOS-UPDATED

On October 17, ceremonial City Day event was held in Fuzuli, Azerbaijan, Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan told APA.

Fuzuli City Day was held under the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and the special representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Fuzuli City Day is held under the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and the special representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the territories liberated from occupation in the Garabagh economic region, APA reports.

Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Garabagh Economic Region (except Shusha district) Emin Huseynov, Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, and a number of state and public figures, representatives of culture and members of the media are attending the event.

Note that during the day, as a part of the program, an exhibition dedicated to Mahammad Fuzuli, the prominent Azerbaijani poet, as well as an exhibition themed “National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Fuzuli”, the exhibition of the archeological samples found in the Yedditapa kurgans and other exhibitions will be displayed.
