Azerbaijan involves 4 locally produced mechanical vehicles in demining activities

4 Revival P demining vehicles manufactured by Improtex Group of Companies under the Made in Azerbaijan brand and meeting international standards were presented to the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), ANAMA told APA.

It was noted that ANAMA increases its material and technical capabilities with the aim of expanding the scale of demining operations in the territories liberated from occupation.

The Revival P mechanical vehicles, used for humanitarian demining activities, is operated from a distance of up to 2000 meters. The remote-control function allows the operator to stay out of the range of devices that can cause devastating blast shock and damage during the detonation of mines and munitions. The special armored metal used in the production of the equipment protects the engine, and other hydraulic and electronic components of the Revival P during demining. With a clearing depth of 300 mm, the vehicles are easily managed in areas with a large slope angle and hard soil cover.

Under the contract signed with Improtex Group of Companies, it is planned to buy a total of 8 mine clearing vehicles, 6 of them being Revival P and 2 of them Revival T, by the end of the current year.

The locally manufactured mechanical vehicles will greatly contribute to the clearing of landmines and unexploded ordnance in the territories liberated from occupation as well as the safe settlement of former internally displaced persons in their native lands within the framework of the "Great Return" program.
