Some states are interested in meddling in the internal affairs of other countries, the chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC), Mazahir Panahov, said at a CEC meeting on Tuesday, APA reports.
“This is a reality. Since this is a reality, one should not turn blind eye to it. Joint actions are needed in this regard. The election results must be accepted by the people, other points do not matter. The will of the people is above all,” he said.
Panahov noted that the CEC is always open to local and foreign media outlets.
“Millions of people participate in the electoral process. Therefore, the presence of small deficiencies is normal. Nothing is ideal,” he added.
