Azerbaijan can play an important role in Africa’s development, Pan-African Parliament President Roger Nkodo Dang, who is paying a visit to Baku, said Tuesday, APA reported.
Dang said he is visiting Azerbaijan to give a new direction to bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and African countries.
“We held high-level talks in Azerbaijan. I believe these meetings will lead us to useful results for bilateral ties,” he said.
The Pan-African parliamentary delegation has visited the graves of Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev and academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
