Abulfaz Garayev: â€œI do not want the names of the cultural workers to be mentioned in any crimeâ€

Baku. Ulker Rashidgizi – APA. Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev criticized the cultural workers, heads of the departments of culture and tourism in the regions and called on them to be responsible, APA reports. At the board meeting of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev talked about the problems and expressed his regret over the involvement of the cultural workers in crimes: “Our problem is that some of the workers are old minded. I am very concerned, the authorities in the regions force me to work with the investigating bodies. Heads of the departments of culture and tourism, libraries, museums should be respected people in the society. But I'm getting reports that they have stolen money, abused power and carried out such actions somewhere. I have to discuss the issues on two districts at the Office of Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan. I do not want the word of culture to be mentioned in any crime.”
