President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić has extended condolences to Azerbaijan over the plane crash in Kazakhstan's Aktau involving an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft, Vučić wrote on X in this regard, APA reports.
"With profound sorrow I learned of the plane crash in Kazakhstan. I extend my deepest condolences to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the families of the victims, and the people of Azerbaijan. In these difficult moments, our thoughts are with you," he noted.
Note that an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft performing flight J2-8243 from Baku to Grozny, an Embraer 190 airplane, crashed 3 km near the city of Aktau. There were 67 passengers and 5 crew members on board.
