“I would like to express my gratitude for your assistance in the restoration of Karabakh. Uzbekistan was the first country to provide practical assistance, and you were the first President to provide this assistance. The school named after Mirzo Ulugbek has already admitted almost all the students who can study there. The school has a capacity of approximately 1,000 students. According to the latest information, several hundred students are already studying there, and this school has become one of the symbols of our friendship and brotherhood.
“We also visited the garment factory in Khankendi together. This enterprise was also established by our Uzbek friends in a record short period of time. We met with the staff in Khankendi, and, of course, the creation of jobs, especially jobs for women in the Karabakh region, is currently of great importance. Once again, the first investment project to establish a modern production facility that will create 200 or more jobs also belongs to Uzbekistan. I am very grateful to you for this,” the head of state said.
