President Ilham Aliyev has met with former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, APA reports.
A post in this regard was shared on the President’s social media accounts.
“I met with former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, who is visiting Baku.
During our acquaintance spanning more than 20 years, we shared fond memories, recalled the joint work we carried out toward strengthening Azerbaijan–Ukraine relations, and exchanged views on the future prospects of our ties.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan presented me with the certificate of ‘Honorary Citizen of the City of Irpin’,” the post reads.
